i-MED Africa - May 2023 - August 2025
Initially appointed to draft the board charter as a governance advisor, I later assumed executive leadership to support structural change. I led the transformation of the organisation into a multi-service nonprofit with a coherent operational model and a reach of over 5,000 annual beneficiaries. I introduced community and trauma-informed programming, developed tiered financial models for adaptive delivery, and built an accountable team culture grounded in care and professionalism.
I remain a non-executive director of i-MED.

I developed a board charter that served as a governance training tool and helped formalise compliance structures and risk protocols. I also led the refinement of organisational messaging, integrating programme and financial reporting to improve transparency and stakeholder confidence
Flower Valley Conservation Trust - March 2018 - December 2021
During a critical period of transition, I supported the Trust’s strategic repositioning and ethical winddown. I executed a management and governance contract for the Department of Social Development focused on ECD compliance and protection. I aligned donor and operational narratives, enhancing team coherence across programmes
Freelance WordPress Developer - September 2017 - February 2018
I worked as a freelance WordPress web developer for a startup focused on business listings. During this period I built and deployed several small WordPress sites for diverse clients, translating their listing needs into clean, responsive, and maintainable websites.
South African Police Service - January 2017-August 2017
In this contract role, I supported professional standards in labour law enforcement by working on police misconduct investigations and improving internal accountability systems, and defended civil claims against the state where allegations of misconduct were found to be baseless. I also provided real-time legal and policy advice to officers in the field. This role sparked my enduring interest in institutional integrity and ethical leadership.

The establishment and general management of a successful takeaway business in the coastal town of Kleinmond. The business ran successfully for six years, consistently turning a profit. Once I had completed my undergraduate degree, we sold the business and relocated to Gauteng.
